With a visit to the ancient fishing huts
The tour begins with a visit to the new Open Air Archeological Park that houses the recontruction of two houses of the ancient Etruscan city of Spina and continues with a fascinating excursion along the inner waterways of the Comacchio Lagoon. A unique experience to admire the beauty of a spectacular oasis, home to hundreds of species of water bird and a large colony of flamingoes. The guided tour includes a visit to the ancient fishing huts called "casoni", to discover habits and traditions of the past.

HOW TO REACH OUR BOARDING PLACE:
BY BUS
Starting from Comacchio follow the brown signs for "Percorso Storico - Naturalistico Valli di Comacchio". Take the SP 1 to Ostellato that goes along the canal Ferrara - Comacchio. After 1.5 km turn in direction Anita / Portomaggiore on the bridge that connects the lagoons. After another 1.5 km, take the first street on your left, go ahead until the Stop and then turn left again. Continue for 2.5 km, at the end of the street turn right and continue on Strada Foce. After 3 km cross an iron bridge and you reach Stazione Foce.

BY CAR
From Comacchio (close to the Carabinieri
Station, Via Trepponti you'll find a white bridge), follow the brown
indications which say "Valli di Comacchio - Percorso Storico Naturalistico".
It is 4 km far from the City of Comacchio, the road runs across the lagoon
bank until our Parking and boarding.
