Cycling through the oases of the Po Delta Park
Po Delta Tourism organizes guided cycling excursions through the main natural oases of the Po Delta, along safe and accessible cycling routes, ideal for adults, families, and young riders. All tours are led by qualified environmental guides, ensuring an enjoyable and authentic experience.
The cycling routes at the mouth of the River Po are not to be missed. The Via delle Valli, which crosses the Po Delta in the Veneto region through floodplain areas and traditional fishing valleys; the Destra Po Cycle Route, which follows the Po di Goro branch to the Bosco della Mesola Nature Reserve. Here, a fascinating cycling trail runs through the forest and continues to Goro, following the coastline and the Sacca di Goro.
Scenic rides through the coastal pine forests lead to the seaside resorts and along the embankments of the Comacchio lagoons. A highlight is the new “Argine degli Angeli” Cycle Route, a spectacular 5.4 km strip of land crossing the heart of the lagoons, considered one of the most beautiful cycling paths in Italy.
Another highly rewarding experience is a bike ride through the Comacchio Saltworks, an extraordinary natural environment and an important nesting area for pink flamingos.
